Uber, Lyft may face more federal oversight, lawmaker warns

Teen Sues Lyft After Driver Masturbated During Ride
A teenager who caught her Lyft driver masturbating is suing the ride-share company over its process for vetting drivers, court records show.
The 14-year-old girl, identified only as M.B., is arguing that Lyft failed to properly investigate its drivers and should have known her driver was "a danger to passengers" and "unfit" to drive for Lyft, the lawsuit says.
"Lyft's actions go beyond all possible bounds of decency," the complaint, filed this week in Queens Supreme Court, reads. read more »
