George Tyndall, former University of Southern California (USC) gynecologist, has been accused by hundreds of former female students of sexual harassment and abuse, and U.S. District Judge Stephen V. Wilson, appointed by Ronald Reagan, in Los Angeles said he would give final approval to USC’s landmark $215-million class action settlement with Tyndall’s patients. Feds allege LA apartment manager sexually harassed women

Women who lived in two apartment buildings in Los Angeles faced years of sexual harassment and retaliation by a property manager, violating the Fair Housing Act, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a lawsuit Monday.
The lawsuit filed in federal court alleges that since at least 2006, Filomeno Hernandez engaged in unwanted sexual touching, made unwelcome sexual advances and comments, and offered to reduce rent or excuse late or unpaid rent in exchange for sex. Church sexual abuse: French priest Preynat admits 'caressing' boys

A former French priest accused of sexually abusing dozens of Boy Scouts has admitted "caressing" children in ways he knew were wrong, at the beginning of his trial in France.
"It could be four or five children a week," Bernard Preynat, 74, told the court in Lyon on Tuesday.
He is accused of assaulting at least 80 young boys in the 1980s and 1990s and faces ten years in prison if convicted. read more »
