For the first time, "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" star Angelina Pivarnick opened up about her private battle with the New York Fire Department over sexual harassment claims.
The reality TV star worked as an EMT on Staten Island from 2016-2018 and, during that time, said one supervisor made unwelcome physical and verbal sexual advances while another made vulgar comments about her sex life. Illinois Child Sex Abuse Victim Can Sue School 20 Years Later

An Illinois law setting a 20-year statute of limitations for child sex abuse civil cases is not preempted by the one-year time limit for suits against governmental entities, a state appeals court has ruled in a suit accusing a former teacher of sexually abusing an underage female student over a four-year period ending in 1989.
The panel said because the Childhood Sexual Abuse Act contains specific language stating that the 20-year time limit applies "notwithstanding any other provision of law," the government tort act's limitations period doesn't control the plaintiff's suit, which was filed in April 2019. read more »
Time’s Up U.K. Preps Microaggression App for Women in the Workplace

As the industry looks ahead to a post-lockdown future, Time’s Up U.K. is commissioning key research to improve the experiences of women in the workplace. A new strategy involves a dedicated app to help women in film and television, as well as other industries. The app will serve as a guide explaining what microaggressions are and how they manifest, and will also provide resources for support.
“If you have a culture where microaggression is apparent, then that contributes to a culture of silence and being complicit when there is harassment and bullying going on," said Time’s Up U.K. chair Heather Rabbatts.
