HBSS Recognized on the Plaintiffs' Hot List
Today the National Law Journal unveiled its annual Plaintiffs' Hot List, and for the third time Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro earned a spot on the prestigious list.
The Hot List names 14 law firms across the country that demonstrate impressive verdicts and settlements and those firms taking on cases of significant public importance.
This year, the NLJ recognized HBSS for its work in holding the pharmaceutical industry accountable for price inflation and credits the firm for the resulting rollback of prescription drug prices; its work to recover service fees charged under false pretenses in hotel transactions booked through Expedia; and the firm's long battle against mining giant Rio Tinto who is accused of war crimes and atrocities on the Pacific Island of Bougainville.
This is the eighth Hot List published by the National Law Journal, which is published each fall. This year's list appeared in the Oct. 5 issue and can be found at the NLJ's Web site - www.nlj.com.
