Volkswagen must face claims that it misled investors about its liability for installing emissions cheating software in some 11 million vehicles worldwide, but only for statements issued after May 2014, a federal judge ruled Wednesday.

Three Bosch Managers Targeted as German Diesel Probe Expands
A German probe into whether Robert Bosch GmbH helped Volkswagen AG cheat on emissions tests intensified as Stuttgart prosecutors said they were focusing on three managers at the car-parts maker.
While Stuttgart prosecutors didn’t identify the employees, the step indicates that investigators may have found specific evidence in the probe.
