Ford Recalls 550,000 Vehicles Over Rollaway Danger, But Feds Never Investigated
Ford is recalling almost 550,000 vehicles in North America because the automatic transmission might not be in “park,” although the shift indicator says it is. That could allow the vehicle to roll, the automaker said in a news release Wednesday.
Federal regulators never investigated the issue despite having at least 30 complaints from owners of the recalled 2013 -16 Fusions and 2013-14 Escape models. Three of those owners said they were injured. read more »
