NEGAR, Italy – Ruben Guerreiro, a 21-year-old member of the Axeon Hagens Berman cycling team took first place in the G.P. Palio del Recioto in Negar, Italy, conquering the 143.2-kilometer Italian Under 23 race.

Guerreiro and Michal Schlegel – who took second place – finished 62 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher, Amanuel Gebreigzabheir, and 1:59 ahead of a group including Axeon Hagens Berman's Tao Geoghegan Hart, who placed seventh.
