File Date

Frozen potato food processors have allegedly engaged in an illegal agreement for years causing millions of U.S. consumers to overpay for frozen potato products, including french fries, tater tots, hashbrowns and more.

The alleged price-fixing conspiracy allowed processors to implement price increases for frozen potato products. In addition, several of the alleged brands control much of the frozen potato market together, allowing them to collectively benefit from increased margins, and giving consumers little to no options for less-expensive alternatives.

Hagens Berman is seeking reimbursement for these alleged illegal actions by leading processors that may have deceived purchasers of frozen potato products. Our firm believes that consumers deserve compensation.
