The firm represents inventors of an Oscar-winning, copyrighted and patented motion picture technology, called MOVA Contour Reality Capture, are suing entertainment giants Disney, Marvel, Fox, Paramount and Crystal Dynamics in lawsuits accusing them of infringing the inventors’ intellectual property while using stolen technology to make some of the highest grossing motion pictures to date. Bombardier Inc.
The firm represented Arctic Cat Inc. in patent infringement litigation against Bombardier Recreational Products. Florida U.S. District Judge Beth Bloom today issued a final judgment of $46 million against defendants, Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. (TSE: BBD.B) and BRP U.S. Inc., trebling initial damages of $15.5 million. The complaint alleged that Bombardier's Sea-Doo personal watercraft infringe Arctic Cat's patents covering temporary steerable thrust technology used when the rider turns in off-throttle situations. more »
EA Madden NFL
The firm represents the original software developer of the Electronic Arts (EA) NFL Madden Football video game series in a suit alleging that he is owed royalties on EA Madden NFL titles as well as other derivative products. We prevailed in two trials against EA, and the verdicts were designated as the Top Verdict of the Year (2013) by The Daily Journal. The judgment is on appeal and if upheld will return for a final damages phase. more »

The firm represented FlatWorld Interactives LLC in patent litigation against Samsung, LG and Apple.
